Community Night & Intense UNO!

Nate, well 1/2 of him! The *CAR school was going to work in one of the slums with us!
I wish I would had pictures. Community night at ARK international is not always this active, but we always have fun.

Tonight it was Intense UNO.

I know. I know what you are thinking, intense UNO, is that possible?!? Yes, so much so, in fact, at one point the air conditioning inside our leaders Bangkok house, was still not cool enough at 19 degrees Celsius. We were sweating so much.

This is how it works, each time a person won (which happened to be Nate, from the *CAR School, about 8 of 10 games...) the winner would get to invent a new rule. One rule I made up, for example, was silent on red. If a red card was showing, no one could talk. The last of the rules that Nate made before he had to go, was rotate to the left on a 7. If a 7 is played, each player has to lay the cards down in front of them and rotate to the left. Now, THAT can get funny because you take up someone else's cards and the turn stays with the card not the player.

Gotta love new people joining new games, adding love to our ARK team!

*This week we had a school training to work with Children at visiting for a week on the Children at Risk School on their way to India and another large neighboring Asian nation...here they are in the Tuk Tuks on the way to one of our communities!
