CREATION Rocked Our FACE-OFF!

Over, an estimated, 100,000 people attended the 4-day Festival--CREATION WEST at the GORGE Amphitheater in George, WA 22-25 July 2009--

With festivals held in both the Northeast and Northwest, this is the nation's largest Christian music festival. Learn more at www.creationfest.com. Creation offers days filled with the top musical artists, children's activities, a worship tent and more. However, the Creation Festival is about much more than music. Creation is also about honoring the Word of God through speakers and seminars.

Its purpose is to change lives and glorify God. The sponsors' prayer for CREATION '09 is that people will be changed, restored, and challenged to serve the Lord and to make a difference in the world. MUSIC was intense and varied...from Heavy Metal sound of SKILLET-- To Rock sounds of KUTLESS, to Crunk Rock edgey sound of FAMILY FORCE 5, and Pop Rock of HAWK NELSON, to Hip-Hop of Clique 116 featuring Lecrae, R&B of Group One Crew, to Gospel Soul of ISRAEL HOUGHTON. Plus TONS of up and coming bands like the Talent Search winners SONSOFDAY, R&B/RAP/Soul of B.REITH, and Stephanie SMITH, a discovery of TOBYMAC (who did not perform)...The real suprise was the hard rock sound of RED, who took main stage in place of THOUSAND FOOT CRUTCH, who told CREATION they could not make the Festival 2 days before they were set to perform on night 3 due to one of the member's appendicitis, who was recivering form emergency surgery. After the crowd and staff prayed for his recovery, they announced RED taking their place to a favorable reaction from the audience!

Their Talkback at the Youth Leader's hut and prayer for the youth leaders was an amazing way to start their PHENOMENAL SHOW! (oh the vidoe is 29 megs too big...i'll change that and upload it soon...)

SO BLESSED BY THE AMAZING WEATHER & FOR WATER, lots of IT!!!

CAMPING was the key--it was HOT but there was amazing fellowship with people from all over the US and Canada and there was time to BE STILL before the Lord...
